Position
The list of things we will not sell you.
Unusual on a page of this kind, and it is the most useful thing a buyer in this market can be told. For a practical comparison point, see Monitask's employee time clock software.
Screen capture
Periodic screenshots collect a great deal that has nothing to do with an employer, they show an application rather than whether work was good, and they are the single feature most associated with the litigation and the resignations in this category.
Not offered.
Keystroke logging
Captures passwords, private messages and everything else. The legitimate purposes it is sold for are served by other means.
Not offered.
Covert anything
Collection the person has not been told about is unlawful in many jurisdictions, restricted to narrow circumstances in others, and discovered eventually everywhere.
Not offered, and not described on this site.
Productivity scores
An activity score presented as productivity measures whether a keyboard moved. Selling that as a measure of work is the misdescription this whole category is judged by.
Not offered.
Why say this at all
Because a buyer cannot establish from a feature list what a supplier does when nobody is looking, and because the customers worth having are the ones who wanted to hear it.
