Capture
At the point of switching, from wherever the work already is: the ticket, the job, the call, the site. Four seconds, not a form.
Confirm
Once a week the person confirms rather than reconstructs. Confirmation of something already recorded is accurate; reconstruction on Friday is a guess.
Correct
Anybody can correct their own record, and the correction is logged rather than silent. A record an administrator can change invisibly is not evidence.
Report
Attribution by client, project, site, cost code or category, decided once at setup so that nobody makes a judgement weekly.
